Do I Need to Notify the ATF?

Per ATF Ruling 2016-1 Condition 10, if you are using cloud-hosted software, you must notify your ATF Area Office within 30 days of starting.

Keep a copy of the notification for your records.

• Your FFL number
• The name of the software (Logbooks for Guns)
• The date you began using the electronic system

Where to Send It

Send your notification to your assigned ATF Area Office. You can find your area office at atf.gov.
