Understanding Your Electronic Bound Book

Your electronic bound book replaces the traditional paper Acquisition & Disposition (A&D) log required by ATF.

Required Fields

The system enforces all ATF-required fields based on your license type:

• All Types: Manufacturer/Importer, Model, Serial Number, Type, Caliber/Gauge
• Acquisitions: Date received, name/address of person or business received from
• Dispositions: Date disposed, name/address of person or business disposed to, or Form 4473 number

Key Features

• Auto-numbering — Sequential record numbers assigned automatically
• PMF Support — Privately Made Firearms with "PMF" prefix per ATF Final Rule 2021R-05F
• NFA Items — Track silencers, SBRs, SBSs, and other NFA items
• Pawn/Consignment — Special handling for temporary custody items
• Theft/Loss — Proper recording of stolen or lost firearms with ATF notification tracking
