How Does Correction Tracking Work?

Per ATF Ruling 2016-1 Condition 2, every edit to a receipt or disposition record creates a version with:

• The original value
• The new value
• Who made the change
• When the change was made
• Why (reason for correction)

You can view the original record, the corrected record, or both — exactly as ATF requires.

How It Works

1. Click "Edit" on any record
2. Make your correction
3. Enter the reason for the change
4. The system saves both versions automatically

Correction history is always available and cannot be altered or deleted.
